Food
Food is the fuel everyone needs to keep healthy and happy. Health foods, such as low-fat, low-calorie foods, are the best types of foods for maintaining optimum health. However, not everyone can or will eat healthy. In today’s era of convenience and instant gratification, a person want food fast, whether it’s healthy or not doesn’t matter, fast is more important.
Fast food has become part of America’s obesity problem. With it’s greasy, batter-dipped and fired just about everything, fast food is not worth the money in the long run. People with obesity problems face a number of problems including heart Laktosefreie Lebensmittel disease and diabetes and a host of other medical problems.
If you are trying to maintain a healthy balance for your children, then pass the fast food place by. They have nothing of value in the food departments. Instead make kids a turkey and cheese wrap out of a low-fat or non-fat tortilla with a piece of cheese and some fat-free mayo. They will never know the difference. You can also make your own chicken nuggets using all white meat chicken, dip them in egg whites then roll them in bread crumbs or fat-free cracker crumbs and back instead of frying them.
People seem to have a ‘love/hate’ relationship with food. Especially those people who are trying to loose weight. Food is a necessity for all living beings, although some people can not manage their food intake as well as others, therefore food becomes the enemy. We need certain foods for strong bones, teeth and good skin and eyes in addition to good brain function. People who can not manage their food eat for emotional reasons while other people; healthy people realize food is a necessary fuel and only a fuel.
That’s not to say that healthy food tastes bad. Health food has come a long way since the early 1970’s when first introduced and most of it tasted like the cardboard box it came in.
Over the past several years, there has been an increase in the number of Laktosefrei Produkte food allergies reported by researchers. Allergies to peanuts, eggs, shellfish and gluten – which is wheat, barley and rye, are all found in both children and adults. Many of these allergies can have deadly consequences, while others need to maintain a strict diet that avoids these foods.
A gluten allergy or celiac disease is when a person’s small intestines can not absorb the nutrients from foods containing gluten. The finger-like villi’s become damaged and bloating, stomach cramps and gas and diarrhea are some of the symptoms of a gluten allergy.
The only cure for a gluten allergy is to remove all gluten from your diet. A gluten-free diet is often hard to follow because in addition to the obvious gluten containing food products such as bread, cereals and pastas, sometimes other products are made with gluten and will not say, they might just say ‘sugar’ instead of what type of sugar. Sauces are a big item to stay away from because it is laden with gluten.
